Prepare the Surface Wire brush the surface to remove all loose, flaky rust. Do not brush down to bare metal, as the XionLab Rust Converter product bonds best to a rusty surface. Wipe away any debris with a cloth, brush, or air pressure. Ensure that all grease and oil are completely removed from the surface, then rinse thoroughly.

Application Apply the product with a brush, roller, or sprayer, ensuring that the metal surface is uniformly covered. For spray application, dilute with up to 15% water to achieve a 0.5-1 mil dry film thickness.

Dry & Curing Time Allow the 2-in-1 converter & primer to dry completely for 48 hours before applying a top coat. If no top coat is to be applied, a second coat of the product may be applied before the first coat has dried, within 2 to 4 hours.
